Understanding Rivigo Tracking Status Messages

By Admin

You entered your consignment number and a status appeared on screen. But what does it actually mean? Status messages are short by design, and it is easy to misread them. Knowing how to interpret each one helps you plan better and avoid unnecessary worry when you track your Rivigo shipment.

Booked or Pickup Done

This is the first status you will usually see. It means the shipment has been accepted and registered in the system. At this point the goods may still be at the booking branch or on their way to the origin hub. No action is needed from you.

In Transit

"In transit" means your consignment is moving between locations. On long routes, this status may stay the same for a day or longer because the truck is on the road between hubs. In a relay trucking network, the vehicle can keep moving with changing drivers, so the shipment may cover a large distance before the next scan appears.

Arrived at Hub or Reached Destination

When the shipment is unloaded at a hub, it is scanned and the status updates. If it says the shipment has reached the destination hub, your goods are in the delivery city and are being sorted for the final leg.

Out for Delivery

This is the status most receivers wait for. It means the consignment has been assigned to a vehicle or delivery executive and is on its way to the delivery address. Make sure someone is available to receive the goods and that the address and phone number on the booking are reachable.

Delivered

The shipment has been handed over to the consignee. Some systems show the date, time and the name of the person who received it. If you see "delivered" but have not received the goods, check with colleagues, security staff or neighbours first, then contact support with your CN number.

Other Possible Messages

Reading Status Updates the Smart Way

Look at both the status and the time of the last update. A shipment that says "in transit" with a recent timestamp is moving normally. If the same status has not changed for much longer than the usual transit time, it is a good moment to contact support.

Conclusion

Status messages tell a story about your shipment's journey. Once you understand each stage, a quick look at the tracking result tells you exactly where things stand and whether any action is needed.
