Acceptance of These Terms

These terms and conditions govern use of this website and the provision of treatments by Lipo Freeze. They apply to everyone who reads these pages and to everyone who goes on to have a consultation or a treatment. Using the site indicates acceptance of them; arranging a consultation confirms it.

An Honest Note About This Document

These terms are a general template describing intended practice. They are not legal advice, and they should be reviewed by the site owner's own legal adviser — and amended wherever that adviser considers it necessary — before they are published and relied upon as the terms of the business.

They are written in ordinary language on the assumption that terms nobody can read protect nobody. Where a passage limits what you may expect, it is stated as plainly as the passages describing what is offered.

Website Content Is Not Medical Advice

Everything published on this site is general information about non-surgical aesthetic treatments: how they work, what they can reasonably achieve and where their limits lie. It is written to be accurate, but it is not medical advice, not a diagnosis, and not a recommendation that any particular treatment is right for any particular reader.

Reading these pages does not create a practitioner-patient relationship between you and Lipo Freeze. That relationship begins at consultation, when somebody qualified assesses you in person. Nothing here substitutes for advice from your own doctor, and nothing here should prompt anybody to stop, start or alter prescribed medication or to delay seeking medical attention for a symptom that warrants it. Where a concern may have a medical cause rather than a cosmetic one, a GP is the right first port of call.

Suitability, Assessment and Results

All treatments are subject to a suitability assessment at consultation. Medical history is taken, current medication is reviewed and the area concerned is examined before anything is agreed. A treatment may be declined on clinical grounds at any point — including after an appointment has been arranged, and including on the day itself if something emerges that was not known beforehand. Being told a treatment is not appropriate for you is a normal outcome of an honest assessment, and no consultant is obliged to proceed with one they consider unsuitable.

Results Vary Between Individuals

No specific result is guaranteed. Outcomes depend on the individual — on tissue, medical history, age, the nature of the concern and what happens afterwards in terms of weight, activity and aftercare. Two people given the same treatment on the same area will not necessarily see the same change, or see it on the same timescale. The account of how results typically develop describes what is usual rather than what is promised, and any published figure reflects reported outcomes; it is not an undertaking that you will achieve it.

A result described honestly can disappoint; a result guaranteed will do so more often, and with less warning.

Your Responsibilities as a Client

The assessment described above only works if the information it rests on is complete, which places a genuine obligation on you as well as on the consultant.

  • Accurate disclosure. You are responsible for disclosing relevant medical history, conditions and current medication accurately and in full. Several categories exclude treatment outright, and they cannot be applied to information that was never given.
  • Aftercare. You are responsible for following the aftercare guidance provided, which is given for clinical reasons and affects both comfort and outcome.
  • Age. Treatments are provided only to those aged eighteen or over. Proof of age may be requested, and treatment is declined where there is doubt.
  • Changes in circumstances. If your health, medication or circumstances change between consultation and treatment, that change must be raised before the session begins.

Where a treatment is given on the basis of incomplete or inaccurate information, the assessment that permitted it rested on a false footing, and Lipo Freeze cannot accept responsibility for a consequence that proper disclosure would have prevented. The contraindication list for each treatment is published openly so nothing depends on guesswork.

Appointments, Home Visits and Access

Treatments are carried out in the client's own home, across England, Scotland and Wales, and the home visit carries no additional cost. Delivering treatment this way places a few practical requirements on the address, set out here so that nobody discovers them on the day.

A suitable private space is needed — a room where you can be comfortable and undisturbed for the length of the session, with enough room for the consultant to set up and work safely around you. Normal domestic power must be available at a socket within reach of that space, since the equipment is mains-powered. Reasonable access is also needed, including anything the consultant should know in advance about parking, stairs or entry arrangements.

Appointments are arranged individually and both sides are expected to give reasonable notice of a change. A session may be ended early if continuing would be unsafe or the environment proves unsuitable. The reasoning behind home-based delivery is set out on the page explaining the approach.

Pricing and Quotations

The prices published by Lipo Freeze are those set out on the prices page, and they are the prices that apply to the treatments listed there. Treatments carrying no published figure — including body toning, incontinence treatment, vaginal tightening, the non-surgical facelift, advanced radiofrequency microneedling and precision cryotherapy for skin blemishes — are quoted at consultation, because the cost depends on the areas treated and the number of sessions required. Quoting a single figure for those in advance would mean quoting a figure most people would not actually pay.

Prices may change from time to time. A price quoted at consultation is the price for the plan discussed at that consultation; if the plan changes, the quotation changes with it, and that is explained before anything proceeds.

Intellectual Property and External Links

The content of this website — text, structure, images and design — belongs to Lipo Freeze or is used with permission, and it is protected by copyright. You are welcome to read it, print it for your own use and share a link to it. You may not reproduce it commercially, republish it as your own or use it to promote another business, and the name Lipo Freeze may not be used in a way suggesting an association or endorsement that does not exist.

Third-Party Sites

Where this site refers to material published elsewhere, that material is outside the control of Lipo Freeze. No responsibility is accepted for the content, accuracy or availability of any third-party website, and a reference to one is not an endorsement. If you follow a reference away from these pages, the terms and privacy practices of that site apply to you there rather than these.

Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Your statutory rights as a consumer are unaffected, and no term here should be read as attempting to remove them.

Subject to that, and to the extent the law permits, liability is not accepted for loss that does not arise directly from the treatment provided — including loss of earnings, loss of opportunity or costs incurred in reliance on an outcome that was never guaranteed — nor for a consequence arising from information withheld or given inaccurately, nor for a failure to follow the aftercare guidance given. Nor is liability accepted for a decision taken solely on the basis of general information published on this website, which is why the assessment described above happens in person and precedes any treatment. Where something does go wrong, the sensible first step is to raise it directly and promptly, while the circumstances are fresh and something can still be done about it.

A fair limitation of liability can be read in full without alarm, and that is the test applied here.

Governing Law, Changes and Questions

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any dispute arising out of them or out of a treatment provided under them is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. They may be updated from time to time, and the version published on this page is the version that applies. A change is not applied retrospectively to a plan already agreed and quoted, which remains governed by the terms in force when it was agreed.

Questions about these terms are answered by telephone on 03300 105 225, which is the only route by which Lipo Freeze is reached. How your information is handled is set out separately in the privacy policy, and an overview of the treatments these terms relate to sits on the home page.
